Former Saturday Night Live performer Molly Kearney will be one of two comedians to present their acts when the Clark State Performing Arts Center returns its Club Kuss series to its 2024-25 season.

Live from Springfield, it’s a former “Saturday Night Live” performer who will start the new year with laughs. Ohio native and University of Dayton graduate Molly Kearney, who was a featured player on the long-time comedy institution’s 48th and 49th seasons, will do standup comedy as the first show of 2025 as part of the Clark State Performing Arts Center’s Club Kuss Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9.

Kearney, who is from Cleveland, earned a Bachelor’s in theater from the University of Dayton and then traveled to Chicago and Los Angeles, received wider exposure on Comedy Central and has performed in series including the sports comedies “A League of Their Own” and “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.”

In 2022, Kearney joined the SNL cast as its first open nonbinary performer and left the cast this past summer and now does standup.

Club Kuss Series shows offer a more intimate entertainment experience with a smaller audience seated closer to the stage and are offered complimentary desserts to add to the experience. The Clark State Performing Arts Center is located at 300 S. Fountain Ave.

Tickets cost $20 each and $10 student tickets are available with a valid student ID at time of purchase. To purchase tickets or for more information, go to pac.clarkstate.edu/shows/2024-2025/.
