Game-day rituals: Listening to, “Run This Town” by Jay-Z and Rihanna while I put on my gear. Having one minute of complete silence where I close my eyes and tell myself positive things I am going to do in the match. This one is a little bit cheesy, but fist bumping myself in my mirror.

What’s on my bedroom walls: Pictures of my family and friends, a Wright State pennant, and fortune cookie papers that had an inspiring fortune and meant something to me.

When I’m bored I like to: Lift weights, play with my dogs, hang out with friends or look through my camera roll at old memories

Favorite movie: The Hunger Games series. More specifically, Catching Fire.

Best thing about soccer: The best thing about soccer is the feeling you get when you succeed. The thrill, rush of adrenaline and high energy in tough situations are what I love. I love the pressure soccer gives me because it always makes me push myself.

In 10 years, I hope to be: A journalist, mom and mini-dachshund owner. I would love to live on the east coast or upper west coast, but realistically I can’t see myself leaving the area where I grew up.
