Brown, Ruth L.

Ruth L. Brown, age 97 of Hamilton, passed away at Woodland Country Manor on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 18, 1928 the daughter of Russell and Harriett (Wickard) Zeller. On October 28, 1950, in Hamilton she married Walter T. Brown, and he preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of First (Reformed) United Church of Christ and MNO Club of Collinsville. Ruth enjoyed fishing in Barbeau, Michigan and cutting grass on the farm. She had a love for pets, especially Honeybutt. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Connie (William "Skip") Wyatt and Ellen Popazivanov; her niece, Kristie (Bill) Karwisch; her nephew, Bob (Charles) Zeller; numerous great nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends. She was preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Lou Popazivanov, and brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Thelma Zeller. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and wind chimes (lol) memorial contributions can be made to Serve City, 622 East Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011 or Animal Friends, 1820 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011.
