Donald Thomas of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1958, in Dayton, OH, to the late Daniel and Mary (Meixner) Thomas. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ed and Jim. Left to cherish his memory are his two brothers, Dan (Eileen) and John (Cynthia); son, Christopher (Karen) Thomas, daughter, Melissa (Bobby) Getty, granddaughters, Ava and Quinn; nieces, Tracy Thomas, Michelle Thomas, Laura (Randy) Gleason, Janelle Thomas; nephews, Bobby Sutherland, James (Angel) Thomas, Jeffrey (Erin)Thomas, David (Sara) Thomas, Ryan (Danielle) Thomas and Sean Thomas; including great nieces and nephews; along with many beloved lifelong friends.
Donald graduated from St. Charles School and Alter High School. He was a formidable Master Electrician in Ohio, Kentucky and Florida. He will be remembered for his love of family, spirituality, passionate beliefs, humor, music enthusiasm, Donaldisms and communication skills.
Family will greet friends from 9:30-10:30 on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at St. Charles Borromeo, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, OH, 45429, with Mass beginning at 10:30. Interment will be in Tampa Florida.
