Bennett (Rust), Alberta Margaret "Birdie"
Alberta "Birdie" Bennett age 93 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Monday March 30, 2026 at Woodlands of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 11, 1932 the daughter of Ralph and Emma (Morscher) Rust and was a 1950 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On January 30, 1952 in St. Ann Church she married William E. Bennett, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2013.
She was a member of St. Ann Church, the Altar Rosary Society and Partners in Prime Quilters.
Survivors include six children, Thom (Lynn) Bennett, Linda (Joe) Russo, Sharon (Ken) Hardin, Karen (John) Turner, Beverly Scheffel, and David Bennett; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Besides her husband Bill, she was also preceded in death by her son Daniel Bennet on October 8, 2024.
Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Wednesday April 8, 2026, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Online register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
