Boil advisory continues for part of Trotwood, Miamisburg, Moraine, other cities

The Jefferson Regional Water Authority issued a precautionary boil advisory Saturday for customers in the Montgomery County area until further notice.

On Sunday, a message at the Jefferson Regional Water Authority said the boil advisory continues.

The water service company services for Jefferson Twp., Jackson Twp., Miamisburg, New Lebanon, Moraine, West Carrollton, Germantown, Farmersville and Trotwood.

Additional details are not yet available.

Several homeowners left messages on the Facebook for the Jefferson Regional Water Authority asking if they were a part of the boil advisory.

The authority said they put out a phone call to people a apart of the advisory on Saturday. They told homeowners who did not receive the call, to call the office on Monday and leave a phone number for them.
