Last year, Tim Franck took home first place with his chorizo burger featuring a USDA Angus patty topped with crumbled pork chorizo, creamy queso blanco, a fried egg, chipotle ranch and sliced jalapeños, all on a brioche bun.

Those interested in participating in the competition must submit an idea by Dec. 31. The top four creations will enter live voting from Jan. 3 through Jan. 12. The winner will be announced on Jan. 21. This person will not only win bragging rights, but a $500 TJ Chumps gift card and the honor of having their recipe featured on the February menu.
