“I would like to thank the A.M. Scott team for their efforts towards this project. We now look forward to the future with the intent of creating an inclusive space rooted in entertainment and hospitality,” Martin said.
A.M. Scott Distillery, a spirits company located at 214 S. Mulberry St. in Troy, has decided to shift focus to its core revenue stream of manufacturing and distribution. Customers can continue to enjoy their spirits at Scotty’s Bottle Parlor located at the distillery.
“A.M. Scott Distillery and its team has thoroughly enjoyed its partnership with Martin and being an integral part of the Mayflowers development. We now look forward to our primary focus of creating and distributing quality spirits,” said distillery owner Anthony Scott.
The legal name and identity of The Mayflower is subject to change, but the intent is that the nature of the entities remain, the release said.
“Step into the charm of history. At The Mayflower, we invite you to experience the perfect blend of vintage elegance and modern indulgence,” the venue’s website states. “Sip on meticulously crafted cocktails, indulge in dinner offerings, and immerse yourself in the magnetic energy of live entertainment.”
The venue is divided into two floors with four different seating areas. Two of the areas are only open during live performances.
- The Cocktail Lounge (first floor) — Guests can watch the mixologists in action with a mixture of traditional tables, chairs and comfortable soft seating.
- The Highball (second floor) — Enjoy drinks and dining in the old film room that has been turned into a semi-private dining area, overlooking the Cocktail Lounge.
- The Theater (first floor) — Have a seat in a velvet chair and enjoy cocktails and food with a great view of live entertainment. This area is only open during live performances.
- The Gallery (second floor) — Overlooking The Theater, The Gallery allows guests to enjoy food, drinks and live music from an elevated perspective. This area is only open during live performances.
