Man killed in rollover crash in Moraine ID’d

A 47-year-old man who died last week following a rollover crash Friday morning has been identified.

Joshua Ort was died at Miami Valley Hospital, according to Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger.

The crash was reported just after 5 a.m. in the 3000 block of Springboro Pike and temporarily closed the northbound lanes between West Dorothy Lane and Cardington Road as police investigated.

A vehicle hit a large utility pole before rolling over, according to Moraine police. Crews had to extricate the male driver, later identified as Ort, from the vehicle.

He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead later that morning.

No other injuries were reported.
