‘Major gas leak’ closes part of Old Troy Pike in Huber Heights

A section of Old Troy Pike was closed in both directions due to a “major gas leak,” Huber Heights announced on social media Wednesday.

The city said the road was closed between Longford and Taylorsville roads, and asked residents to avoid the area.

The road has since reopened.

Police said the leak was caused by a contractor who was digging in the area and struck a gas line.
