4-year-old girl killed in Darke County golf cart crash identified

A 4-year-old who died after a golf cart crash in Darke County Saturday has been identified.

Sayla Wray succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

The 13-year-old driver and a 10-year-old and 5-year-old passenger were treated for injuries at the scene and released to their families.

Crews responded to reports of a golf cart injury crash in the 500 block of Converse Road around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Four juveniles were traveling in a golf cart on the roadway when it veered off the right side and overturned, the sheriff’s office said.

All four occupants were ejected during the crash.

This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
