Holiday bazaars in November: Where to find unique gifts, treats

This is the time of year where shoppers spend their money on the works of local artisans and vendors. Holiday bazaars in the region range from those at local churches, community centers and local downtown festivals to the International Festival at Mosaic Church in Beavercreek.

Here’s a sampling of holiday bazaars to help you find decor and holiday gifts:

NOVEMBER

DWC Holiday Market and Basement Bazaar

When: 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14; 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16

What: Visit a beautiful Victorian Mansion in downtown Dayton for handcrafted treasures from local artisans and merchants, homemade baked goods and hidden gems at the Basement Bazaar tag sale. Free entry. More info: www.DaytonWomansClub.org

Annual Christmas Bazaar

When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16

What: Crafts, baked goods, and white elephant items. Lunch served from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Admission is free. Sponsored by Eastmont United Methodist Women. More info: 937-253-7109.

Fairmont Athletic Boosters Craft Show

When: 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23

Mills Park Hotel Holiday Bazaar

When: 12 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30

What: Featuring over 50 hand crafted vendors, food truck rally, live music both days, and special visits from Mr. Redlegs, Rosie Red, Gary the Lion from FC Cincinnati, and Who Dey from the Cincinnati Bengals. More info: www.mphbazaar.com
