Early-morning shooting reported on U.S. 35 in Dayton

A shooting was reported early Thursday morning on U.S. 35 in Dayton.

Around 12:55 a.m., a 911 caller reported their friend had been shot, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch. Additional information about their injuries or the suspect was not available.

The shooting reportedly took place on U.S. 35 West near Steve Whalen Boulevard.
