“We understand that too many calamity days can negatively impact student learning,” the district said in a social media post. “Therefore, we are opting to hold a remote learning day to allow students to remain at home and continue learning through at-home work.”
The district said the work provided to students will not require a device or an internet connection. All assignments are due on Thursday morning.
Teachers will be able to help students, the district said. Employees are still expected to report from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. unless otherwise told by a supervisor.
