Coroner: 17-year-old Washington Twp. boy died of natural causes

A 17-year-old boy who was found dead at a Washington Twp. home in October died of natural causes, according to the coroner’s office.

Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger determined Nathan Arnold died from respiratory arrest.

At 7:06 a.m. on Oct. 15, the Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 300 block of Lightbeam Drive for a deceased person.

Deputies spoke to a hospice nurse on the scene who pronounced the teen deceased after he died overnight, according to the sheriff’s office.

A nurse told 911 dispatchers Arnold was terminally ill and had been on hospice since September, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch records.
