Dayton police said that the crash happened when a vehicle went left of center and crashed into vehicles driving the opposite direction. The driver of the first vehicle was transported to an area hospital in life-threatening condition.
People from all three vehicles were taken to area hospitals, but only that driver was in life-threatening condition.
The road was closed in the area of Argella Avenue and Marimont Drive.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dayton Police Department Traffic Services Unit.
