Three men were arrested after they reportedly drove a person to a bank in Englewood in an attempt to rob him Wednesday.

Just before 3 p.m., Englewood police received a call from the Huntington Bank at 800 W. Wenger Road about a customer who said they were taken to the bank under duress to withdraw a large amount of cash, according to the police department.

Officers responded and arrested three men who were reportedly waiting for the other person to return with cash.

Two of the men had outstanding warrants and three guns were recovered from the vehicle.

None of the suspects entered the bank.

The trio was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on preliminary improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and heaving weapons while under disability charges.

Formal charges have not been filed as of Friday morning.

Englewood police are continuing to investigate.
