Dayton Greek Festival’s Holiday Market is returning Saturday, Dec. 14 for the first time since 2022.

“We are excited to be back,” said Christina Panagouleas-Stephens, public relations manager with the festival. “We have a new option that we use to have at our Greek Festival, but discontinued them. Lamb shank dinners which are a community favorite. We have them frozen, too.”

The holiday market is a preorder, prepay and drive-thru pick-up event. All orders must be placed by Friday, Dec. 14. Pick up will follow 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, located at 500 Belmonte Park N. in Dayton.

Customers can order food ready to eat such as the lamb shank dinners, gyros, Greek salad and spinach or cheese pies. Frozen options include gyro kits, dolmathes, lamb shanks, cheese or spinach pies.

The market will also have a variety of baked goods including koulouria, baklava, kourambiethes, kataifi, melomakarouna/finikia and galatoboureko.

The festival’s salad dressing will be available in 16 oz. jars and there will be several boutique items such as bracelets, cards, children’s books and shirts for sale as well.
