A 30-year-old man died Monday after a pickup truck rolled over during an evening crash in Greene County.

Drue Triggs, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, was transported to Kettering Medical Center by MedFlight before succumbing to his injuries, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

At about 6:47 p.m., troopers were called to the 5900 block of Plymouth Road in Silvercreek Twp. for a single-vehicle crash.

A preliminary investigation showed Triggs was driving a 1994 Chevrolet C15 east on Plymouth Road when the truck went off the left side of the road, overturning and hitting a guardrail, according to OSHP.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, Silvercreek Twp. Fire Department, Greene County Engineer’s Office and Parson’s Hook Road and Body Shop helped troopers at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
